The blaugelb Sockeldämmprofil EPS HS made from highly compressed EPS (expanded polystyrene) is suitable for optimal thermal and moisture protection on lift-and-slide doors made of wood, wood/aluminium, aluminium, and plastic.
The blaugelb Sockeldämmprofil EPS HS is robust, resilient, and features quick and easy installation. The blaugelb Sockeldämmprofil EPS HS allows for thermal separation, reducing the possible thermal bridges of conventional plastic profiles with steel reinforcement. It is dimensionally stable, 100% free of HFCKW, HFKW, and HBCD, and low in pollutants, tested according to EMICODE EC1 Plus. The blaugelb Sockeldämmprofil EPS HS was specifically developed for installation as a floor threshold profile under lift-and-slide door threshold systems.
Thanks to the innovative dovetail connection, the blaugelb Sockeldämmprofile EPS HS can be seamlessly joined together, allowing for endless processing. The dovetail connection optimises waste reduction to complete waste-free, while the actual profile length of 1,200 mm is ideal for transport and storage (Euro pallet). Due to its low weight and compact
dimensions, the blaugelb Sockeldämmprofile EPS HS can be processed incredibly quickly and easily.
In the tongue-and-groove connection, both connecting blaugelb Sockeldämmprofile EPS HS have two grooves and two tongues each, and can be coupled in height with each other.
The contour-adapted receptacle ensures quick and easy installation of the profile with the blaugelb frame fixing screw FK-T30 and precise positioning through contour milling. This prevents any hollow chamber between the bank connection profile and the frame, and air tightness is achieved through process-secure sealing.
