The blaugelb Sockeldämmprofil EPS HS made from highly compressed EPS (expanded polystyrene) is suitable for optimal thermal and moisture protection for lift-slide doors made of wood, wood/aluminium, aluminium, and plastic.
The blaugelb Sockeldämmprofil EPS HS is robust, resilient, and is characterised by quick and easy installation. The blaugelb Sockeldämmprofil EPS HS allows for thermal separation, reducing the potential thermal bridges of conventional plastic profiles with steel reinforcement. It is dimensionally stable, 100% free of HCFCs, HFCs, and HBCD, and is low in pollutants tested according to EMICODE EC1 Plus. The blaugelb Sockeldämmprofil EPS HS has been specifically developed for installation as a floor threshold profile under lift-slide door threshold systems.
Thanks to the innovative dovetail connection, the blaugelb Sockeldämmprofile EPS HS can be interlocked form-fittingly and thus processed endlessly. The dovetail connection optimises waste reduction to complete waste-free processing, while the actual profile length of 1,200 mm is ideally suited for transport and storage (Euro pallet). Due to the low weight and compact
dimensions, the blaugelb Sockeldämmprofile EPS HS can be processed exceptionally quickly and easily.
In the tongue-and-groove connection, both blaugelb Sockeldämmprofile EPS HS to be connected each have two grooves and two tongues and can be coupled in height.
The contour-adapted receptacle ensures quick and easy installation of the profile with the blaugelb frame fixing screw FK-T30 and precise positioning through contour milling. This prevents any hollow chamber between the bank connection profile and the frame, and a secure seal is achieved, ensuring air tightness.
