The blue-yellow base insulation profile PVC/TK made of a TK core (thermoplastic) and a 2 mm PVC cover layer (polyvinyl chloride) on both sides is suitable for optimal thermal and moisture protection on balcony doors made of plastic, aluminium, wood, and wood/aluminium. The blue-yellow base insulation profile PVC/TK is robust, resistant, and stands out for quick and easy installation. The blue-yellow base insulation profile PVC/TK allows for thermal separation and reduces potential thermal bridges compared to conventional plastic profiles with steel reinforcement. It is dimensionally stable, 100% free of HCFCs, HFCs, and HBCDs.
The blue-yellow base insulation profile PVC/TK was specially designed for installation as a base extension profile under the frame for floor-level elements. The profile-specific base insulation profiles PVC/TK can be manufactured in heights from 30 to 300 mm. Thanks to the innovative dovetail connection, the blue-yellow base insulation profiles PVC/TK can be interlocked in a form-fitting manner and thus processed endlessly. The dovetail connection optimises waste reduction up to complete waste-free processing.
Due to the milled tongue-and-groove connection, it is possible to adapt the profile-specific base insulation profile PVC/TK with profile-independent base insulation profiles. Both profiles to be connected have a groove on one edge and a tongue on the other edge, allowing them to be coupled in height. The contour-matched receptacle ensures quick and easy installation of the profile with the blue-yellow frame fixing screw FK-T30 and precise positioning through the contour milling. This eliminates any hollow chamber between the bench connection profile and the frame, and airtightness is achieved through the process-safe sealing.
