In the development of the four new versions of roller hinges for plastic doors, the designers at Dr. Hahn paid special attention to ensuring that the appearance of the hinge rollers is delicate and that the hinge design can support the typical door weights used with plastic profiles. Depending on the design of the profiles, the hinges in the 3-part version can carry up to 120 kg!
Suitable for all common profile systems
To achieve the highest possible form fit to the profile systems, the KT-RKN is available with wing hinge parts for a right-angle connection (0°) and with a slightly beveled connection (5°). This creates a versatile assembly kit from which the door manufacturer can select the roller hinge that best meets their requirements. Both hinge series can accommodate overlay situations starting from 16.5 mm. A universally applicable drilling template makes work easier for the door manufacturer in the workshop.
The adjustment can be made on the installed door leaf in six directions:
The leaf can be shifted vertically +/- 3 mm
Horizontally, +/- 3 mm is also possible
Seal pressure +/- 1.0 mm
Hanging and unhanging the door leaf is particularly comfortable. One hinge part can be easily clipped on and off in any position without having to loosen fastening screws.
