The battery-powered brush cutter GTA 40 is designed for professional applications and daily use, even under adverse weather conditions. Therefore, it features a tested splash water protection. Its effectiveness is demonstrated through rigorous internal testing. The STIHL GTA 40 has additionally been certified with an IPX4 protection rating for the already proven splash water protection in internal tests.
The basis for a clean cut and rapid work progress is the particularly powerful EC motor and the STIHL 1/4"-PM3 saw chain. The speed-dependent automatic chain lubrication is another advantage of the STIHL GTA 40. For precise handling, the battery-powered brush cutter is equipped with an ergonomically shaped control handle with hand protection and an upper grip area for the second hand. It is shaped to prevent slipping as effectively as possible. The claw-shaped deflection geometry mounted in front also visually and tactilely separates the upper grip area from the cutting unit.
