The mowing head STIHL PolyCut 6-2 is appreciated by private users as an efficient universal cutting tool for trimming and area work in the home vicinity. The mowing head is specifically designed for use with lightweight STIHL battery and petrol brushcutters.
Changing the plastic blades is easy and tool-free. You can also use the STIHL PolyCut 6-2 with cutting line pieces in diameters of 2.0 mm and 2.4 mm, for example, for trimming and tidying along lawn edges or at corners.

Note: Mowing heads may only be used with a special mowing guard or a compatible STIHL guard for cutting tools.
The PolyCut 6-2 features two movable plastic blades. Compared to mowing heads with three movable blades, the energy requirement for mowing is reduced, which leads to an increased runtime when used with battery-powered strimmers. The slightly raised cutting height reduces unwanted contact of the blades with the ground, thus preventing excessive wear. With the large mowing circle of 330 mm of the STIHL PolyCut 6-2, you can efficiently and quickly mow grass or trim lawn edges.
